Heini Siltainsuu

Master of Arts, PhD researcher, University of Jyväskylä

I am a PhD researcher in musicology, working in the University of Jyväskylä, affiliated to the Centre of excellence of Music, Mind, Body and Brain. My research interests concern the formation of wellbeing benefits of music among older adults, particularly from the angles of identity, lifespan development and every-day relationship to music.

After my master’s studies I have been working with music, older adults and accessibility issues for over a decade before returning to university.

On my free time you will most likely find me training my agility dogs.
